South Moravia
South Moravia ranks among the most remarkable areas of the Czech Republic
due to its nature and scenery features. If somebody says South Moravia,
one of the first things you think of is wine, vineyards, wine-vaults,
vintage and other aspects of this everlasting theme. The region has
a rich folklore tradition. The Lednice-Valtice Area is included in
the UNESCO list. The Podyji National Park is a significant biosphere
reserve. The Moravsky Kras (Moravian Karst) protected area,
which is the oldest one in Moravia, and the Palava protected area
are also located here.
